These teams handle all prospecting, strategic ideation and planning, as well as execution of all marketing programs for new clients.
Consumer Products extends programming trademarks to build licensing and products including book publishing, home video and audio tapes, apparel, and children's toys. These teams ensure that our products have a retail presence in the marketplace and that Viacom is considered a first-class partner to licensees, retailers, and partners both domestically and internationally.
Distribution & Business Development negotiates distribution agreements, maximizing revenue and marketing opportunities from traditional (Comcast, DirecTV, Verizon FiOS, etc.), digital (Amazon, Hulu, etc.) and new media distribution channels while ensuring that fans can discover and engage with Viacom content on every available device and platform.
Marketing communicates the value of each network to viewers and the cable communities. Interns will play an integral role in building and engaging customers, strategies, and campaigns. Marketing & Partner Solutions is a leading innovative Ad Sales organization that delivers the advertising revenue across all Viacom cable TV networks using state of the art research, data, partner marketing, and sales strategy approaches. They work across all media platforms – TV, digital, social, experiential/live events, emerging platforms; and all audiences. Overall this department helps drive brand value, manages channel priorities, meets distribution opportunities, increases revenue and considers cross channel goals.
