  • Overview

Creative Development handles the creation of digital and linear projects from initial pitch to premiere. This could include scripted, unscripted series, specials, docs and short form stunts. These teams work with writers, producers and show runners to create content that utilizes new storytelling formats and new production models.

Production log/transcribe footage, dub media, handle production runs, research/brainstorm and attend field and studio shoots/edits when available. Production areas include the following types of shows:

    • Creative/Promos- Produce promotional videos/spots and news segments. It is short-form or "commercial" production.
    • Series- 1/2-1 hour long formatted shows. This includes documentary-style or longer formatted production.

Production Management handles the business and operational side of production. They are responsible for creating and managing show budgets. Once a show's creative is determined, production management makes these ideas happen. They track show costs and perform logistical duties such as scheduling, hiring, scouting and processing payment. They support production both in the field (on set) and in the office.
